I've heard of this cave and finally made it. It's beautiful! Short trail to get there. It does connect to the Cedar Falls trail but is a couple miles. I highly recommend seeing this cave. Full review by Ashley W

Enjoyed our walk out to the cave. It's a great and easy walk. The parking lot is very nice. The waterfall was a trickle but the sound was nice to hear. Full review by Rosie F

This hike was perfect on a day when we had scheduled a kayak trip at 9, but still wanted to explore somewhere. We were there for less than an hour, as it's an easy walk back to the cave. Ash Cave re… Full review by Kate W

Questions & answers

Q:
Is any part of this wheelchair accessible?
A:
According to the trail map we received from the park ranger at Old Man's Cave, part of the trail is wheelchair accessible, but not all of it.

It looks like it will be warm this weekend and only rainy on Friday. My kids did well in light jackets and tennis shoes that we didn’t mind getting dirty. In retrospect, rain boots may have been a little better, depending on if you’re doing more hiking or more playing in the cave area, for more hiking I’m sure tennis shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty would be more comfortable. The paths and cave are sandy.
Q:
Are dogs allowed?
A:
Yes. You’ll see a number on leashes throughout the park and on the trails.
Q:
Can you set a tent up close to Ash cave? Like out by the parking lot and have a fire at night if so who do I contact?
A:
I did not see space for a tent nor a fire pit. There would also be a lot of commotion because there is the parking lot and heavy traffic because it is one of the popular sites. There are two …

I did not see space for a tent nor a fire pit. There would also be a lot of commotion because there is the parking lot and heavy traffic because it is one of the popular sites. There are two campsites near by but I don't know about there quality. I do a lot of tent camping and backpacking and I did not see any places that I would consider around any of the major areas of the park.
Q:
How do we get to Ash caves from Logan Ohio
A:
