This rating is for the park management. There is only one way to visit anything, that's the long windy road thru the park. Really simple. But because of the 2021 fires, many trails are not accessible… Full review by Soheila S

We were at Lassen National Park last week and saw dogs on two trails. We asked the rangers and they said absolutely NO DOGS on trails. They can be on leash in picnic areas. The rule of thumb, they said, is that you can't take a dog where you can't take a car. Lassen National FOREST is a different story. There are many trails there where dogs are allowed.
