Disney+ is set to release several exciting TV series in 2025, including new entries in popular franchises like Marvel and Star Wars, as well as unique original content.

With the return of The Mandalorian season 2 to Disney+, I felt it was about time to also return to a Star Wars theory. In a previous theory, I talked about how the Jedi could be construed as an 'evil' order.

In fact, after the Season 1 finale aired Tuesday on Disney+, viewers flooded social media channels like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram with calls to the show’s creators, Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, to start drawing up plans for a second season… if they haven’t already, that is.

Disney has yet to officially confirm whether Skeleton Crew will return to screens for a second season. Series co-creators Watts and Ford last year discussed the challenges other outings of the show would face, given that the main characters are children.

While it may not be a lot that is coming from the galaxy far far away this year, they are still getting fans excited.
