A North Georgia school district shifted to a learn from home day Friday as a result of a large number of student and staff absences from the flu and norovirus.

Several school districts statewide and in the Oklahoma City metro are shifting to virtual learning or canceling classes on Friday due to the large number of students and faculty who are out sick.

The Georgia school district says that more than 10% of students at each of its schools is sick from the flu or norovirus.
