President Donald Trump threatened to withhold federal disaster aid for wildfire-ravaged Los Angeles unless California leaders change the state's approach on its management of water.

A Red Flag Warning remained active for inland and mountain communities through Friday morning, which means it could be another busy day for local fire crews.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department was on the scene of a small vegetation fire near Grantville Thursday morning. Crews knocked the flames down quickly and were mopping up the area as of 9:50 a.m.
