As Saturday’s practices kicked off the Shrine Bowl week, Sanders was in street clothes with the West team. While it’s not uncommon for top-level prospects to eschew on-field practices, both the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl made noise about not allowing that for this year’s editions of the most significant all-star games.

Sanders won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2024. In a recent NFL mock draft by Athlon Sports' Luker Easterling, Sanders was selected at No. 6 by the Las Vegas Raiders.

Sanders, the youngest son of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, is here to meet with NFL teams. He was seen speaking with front-office members of the Tennessee Titans, who hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and the Cleveland Browns, who have the No. 2 pick.

Also in attendance for a portion of the meeting — though unexpected and only via FaceTime — was the quarterback’s father, Deion Sanders. The Titans, who have the first overall pick, met with Sanders for 45 minutes. The meeting also included a surprise FaceTime call from Shedeur’s father, Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders.
