According to a new report, Google’s smart platform for cars, Android Auto, is found to be used by fewer drivers every year, with YouTube Music seeing a huge surge among car drivers across all platforms.

Although it hasn't specified which ones, Google has confirmed that a new wave of Android Automotive-compatible apps is coming to the Play Store next month.

Despite Apple initially promising a 2024 release, the Android Automotive rival, CarPlay 2, has now been delayed indefinitely.
