The new Bixby to be unveiled alongside the official One UI 7 will reportedly be powered by Gemini and Samsung Gauss LLMs. So there should be significant improvement in the UX with the official One UI 7 launch.

Mar 31, 2023 · Open the Bixby app; Click on the gear icon; Click on On-device mode and enable it. Bixby is not designed to completely replace Google Assistant. There is a lot of overlap but Bixby is designed to help with control and use of Samsung devices and services. I have never had an issue with Bixby using a lot of battery nor RAM.

Jan 18, 2024 · Okay, I can confirm Bixby is not available on the Tab A devices. It just doesn't have enough room or power to handle it. I've seen a couple of videos where someone side loaded Bixby Home via an apk but I wouldn't recommend it.
